Do the bulbs grow during the winter? And how are they harvested?

Plant the bulbs you've got. Next year you will have twice the number of bulbs.

Sell half and plant the other half and next year you will have twice the number of bulbs.

I think it best that you look that up with a search engine, google or yahoo. Your answer will be long. If it is like growing bulbs for for lilies it takes 3 years to get the bulb you want for sale. In the mean time you dig the bulb ub up every year, give it a bath in a solution that kills off what ever may harm it. During the whole process the bulb is not allowed to flower. I am sure there are certain areas that are more ideal for growing than others, like the Easter Lily bulb come from just a few coastal miles along Highway 101 in Southern Oregon and Northern California.
