suntan lotion is an incorrect term for sunscreen as it is something entirely different. Suntan lotion is used to attract UV rays in order to better tan where sunblock is used to deflect UV radiation... you do though get a color eventhough you are using it!

Research is being done to create stable artificial forms of the hormone. A promising candidate, melanotan, might be useful in the prevention of skin cancer, by causing tanning without the need for exposure to dangerous levels of UV.

Yes,the sunblock is to prevent the harmful rays from the sun which cause skin cancer but does not prevent your skin from colouring

yes! I think that has often been the myth and what people think will keep them from getting a tan at all. Not true!! Make sure you put it on before you head out in the sun though not after!

Depends. Put the it on 30 minutes after you've been in the sun so your skin absorbs it.

Depending on if the spf is weak, yes you can. But if you have like spf 50, nothings getting through

Sure you do. It just takes longer to tan, and you're not as likely to burn first.

depending on how high it is...but with protection 10 you can get a lovely tan and be protected...
