Well.. I am a professional traveler-(cabin crew) and I've seen many places.. If you wanna choose from English speaking countries, I would recommend Singapore.. Such a peaceful and beautiful place! New Zealand is a very boring place.. trust me. I would better go for Australia or USA. You can also consider South Africa as it's one of the most beautiful and richest countries of African continent. Good luck.

We moved to France, we fell this is a lovely place for our daughter to grow up. It is very relaxed here making us more relaxed too. We looked into NZ and USA, but felt that it was too far for us to see family.
We have many friends here English and French, our daughter is learning French through school, the education system is very good, and there are very little problems with crime or perverts! We have been here nearly 5 years now, we had our daughter here in a French hospital which was excellent ( not the birth (it hurt) the hospital!!)
Our family have like it so much over here that they are also moving here too!
You can email me if you'd like to know more about France

Yes.
I'd say New Zealand 2.
Their justice system isn't as Naff as ours.
It's a safer environment as a result.
I wish U good luck & I envy U a lil.
I'd leave the UK, if I could.

Many mothers have had your dilemma one time in their lives. I for one was in that situation ,that's why Iam here in the UK. I am from Africa.I was avoiding poverty and seeking education for my children. Trying to prevent history repeating itself. So your country of choice will be determined by what you are running away from and what you are looking for.Trust your instincts

Rural areas in most countries normally have better people and better family values. A small town in the U.S. midwest would be good.
