If you visit London, it is worth going to see the Touristy sites (Tower Bridge, Houses of Parliment, etc, etc)
But several places are worth visiting because they are just plain amazing
* Kew Gardens and Richmond (by the river)
* Camden Town
* Canary Wharf
Plus I recommend doing at least one London night walk.

You can't cover even a 10th of London in 3 days.
It depends what you like, the best thing to do is walk along the River Thames, Southbank is fantastic, there is the Tate Modern and loads of entertainment. Convent Garden is a must see and you may want to see all the touristy things like Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, Museums (Nat Hist is my fave).
If you are here on a Sunday, visit Camden, and if you want a good night out try Angel or Brixton which have great clubs (although careful walking around afterwards!)
Kew and Richmond are beautiful and well worth a visit.
I could go on forever! My advise would be to buy a travel card, jump on a tube until you like the sound of a stop and then just keep walking! It is the best way to see all the small details of London, not just the main tourist attractions.
Have fun!

If you want a London visit you won't forget, leave all your money behind.
My tip is to explore London and pay out as little as possible. Go for walks in Regents Park, and along The Thames. Explore Camden and Notting Hill. Have a look at the old convent in St Margarets Street near Oxford Street.

Also, you may include Traffalgar Square and the art museum standing right next to Traffalgar Square. Beatles are from Liverpool which is around 4 hrs away from London. The link below might be helpful.

It all depends what you intend to do here,. what you find interesting and if you have a budget to stick to,.... maybe then you'll get a set of responses that would more than adequately help you find out what it is you're REALLY after.

Talk a walk along Waterloo Bridge at night and alongside the Thames River. You can take a seat and watch various street entertainers and look up at Big Ben across the way. The views are amazing. It's all lit up and you can see everything. Very romantic too and full of life. Unforgettable!

Why not treat yourself at discount prices? If you haven't booked accomodation as yet, check out www.londontown.com. You will find all hotels for London listed here at vastly reduced prices. This website will also produce an itenary for you based on the dates that you will be in London. I've been to London many times and I have found this site invaluable. Enjoy ........
