What would it take for you to give up on society in general and possibly result in you taking up a life of crime?

i think taking up a life of crime, is really giving up on yourself.
you can have had enough of society, but you needn't turn to crime.

can't you only say that once you've reached it? i've said countless times that if this, that or the other happened i'd just give up and join the oil industry, but amazingly enough most of these things have happened in the mean time and i'm still hanging on (by a thread) to trying to be a decent person. think about it:
- bush did become president a second time, and he won the public vote
- creationism is being taught as a serious alternative to evolution
- there is a market for bespoke, lifelike $12,000 sexdolls
- britney spears lives in plush comfort instead of a trailer park
etc. pp. for all i can see, if i haven't lost my faith in humankind so far, i might as well hang on to it indefinitely.

I won't give up. Everyone is worth helping, loving and time. Why allow a society that I will only live through here on earth (which will be a short stay, everyone dies) to defeat me? Anything is possible, we just need to stop pushing God out, and take it one day at a time.

Wouldn't do the crime cause i don't want to do the time behind bars. And gave up on society a long time ago. And reminded daily why I did so.

well, giving up on society is something to do with ur brain. u realize how to live with it, u will never permanently give up. its a way of life u need to learn.. crime is something which can be justified in a very narrow sense in a very extreme case.
