Well, they will try and buy the next one too. Big Business doesn't want to lose their grip on power in this country or the world for that matter. The wealthy don't either. Those groups have enough money to buy elections just like they have the last 2. McCain is being aligned for the next election and already has given into them. He's talking just like them now. Just listen to him speak and you'll see what I mean. He's sold out already. I use to believe in him and thought he had his mind. Greed is very powerful when it has money. The sad part is that once they get what they want, it leaves this country week and poor.

"don't get me wrong I am a registered republican"
right.....
So, let me see, Karl Rove is such an evil genius that he somehow convinced registered Democrats, who worked as election officials in Democrat controlled counties - to throw the election in George W. Bush's favor - who by the way is the brother of the Republican Governor of Florida, Jeb Bush - who I'm sure is a favorite of Democrats in Florida.
Give me a break!
The truly amazing thing is that George W. Bush actually won Florida, what with all the hijinks that those Democrat controlled counties pulled - changing the definition of what a vote was - and some how divining what a voters intention was.
And the systematic attempt by Florida Democrats to disenfranchise military members living overseas (i.e. the 7 page fax sent out to Democrats on how to successfully challenge absentee ballots sent by military members).
And the Florida Supreme Court over stepping their bounds and changing the rules regarding elections in Florida - even though that, per the Florida State Constitution, is the specific job of the legislature.
Like I said, after all that - it's amazing that George W. Bush still won.

About a month prior to your next federal presidential election, look for a sudden "terrorist attack" beinf 'foiled' by the republican righteous right!..They will then be able to attack the Dems, and blame it all on them!..This happened twice in Australia, It was discovered after the elections that the whole thing had been fabricated, and the so called "terrorist boat people" were nothing of the sort, they 'dudded' videos, claimed ships were sinking and being 'pirated' by terrorists, the whole works!..But it worked..Twice!..So stand by for an episode of this come your next presidential election..Its a sure winner!

The Dems and Reps are on the same team. They just take turns at bat, and it's all choreographed. So, it's not what the Reps will do, it's who do those people in control want to be in the office next coming election. I think that all elections since after Kennedy have been rigged.

Probably the usual tricks...fear tactics leading up to the election, probably some increased alerts, some dire warnings from Dick Cheney coupled with rigging the polls in key states.
They've got lots of practice and experience, so it should be pretty easy this time around too...

Diebold is already onboard for the next election. Nothing like electonically rigging the voting booths to give you the result you want and need huh?
Plus, you can expect another "attack" on US soil just before. Fear really helps keep the sheep in line.
Don't you agree?

Maybe lower the cost of gas by $0.75/gallon in only 3 weeks...oh, wait, check that one off the list. It's all a scam, I tell you!

Believe what you want.
In answer to your initial question, I would love to see J.C. Watts run. The man is incredible.
