Many people have different views on what spooning actually means.
To some it just means innocent cuddling on your side with one person behind the other.
To some it means having sex in a cuddling position where one person is behind the other. Both are laying on their side.
Be sure your partner uses the same terminology as you. She could get hostile if you start taking off all your clothes, and she is just expecting some hug time. lol :P

personally, i find it rather uncomfortable, i mean, cutlery wasn't intended for that purpose was it now!
not to mention how would granny feel if she found out her fave soup spoon had been inserted into your nether regions, yuk!
