lizards arent really that bad a thing to have around , i for one love them , but the people who said get a cat is right , i had a cat who used to love eating those things. if you dont want a cat then maybe you can keep your place cold , lizards are cold blooded and cant survive anything below their own body temperature.

I live in Central FL, and happen to enjoy the new Geico Gecko,,,smiles. I also allow that they may invade my home from time to time without any malicious agenda.

In fact I allow them because they maintain the home for insects that manage to alos come in, they often have visited sitting on my monitor while I'm online, and I manage to let them be.

That said however, I recently adopted a kitten, who I named HUNTER, after she also became a bug eradicator. Sadly,,,she also wiped out my Gecko visitors as well.

I will keep the cat however, as opposed to heavy duty chemical use in bug dismissal.

I tried putting cleaned empty egg-shells, around. Worked for few days and later they got used to and didnot bother, didn't help shifting the shells. I think the best thing is swat them, be on war-path and not give them a respite-!, after few days they might get out and not come back, time only will tell-:)

Lizards are highly poisonous. Keep them away from your kitchen
To keep them away from your kitchen, keep a few empty egg shells on your cooking table. Also keep some peacock feathers in the kitchen, near your cooking range Renew these periodically.
Tell this to all your friends.

watch out. They evolve fast.

Sorry... just saw a movie on the Sci-fi channel involving evolving lizards that were infesting a house.

Actually, you might want to consider keeping them. They eat bugs. Getting rid of them might result in the proliferation of another kind of pest...bugs, bugs, bugs! If you want to avoid this, you need to be exterminated for both.

How cute! Why don't you feed them, but make a place outdoors where they can enjoy the food? If they know that their food will be outside, they will never want to come inside to share you kitchen table?
