If I knocked all the dishes to the floor, threw you on the table and proceeded to make love to you like no other man has had the balls to try, would those table manners bother you?

I think we should table all this manner stuff and just shove our faces in the plate and start chewing. A lot less things to put in the dishwasher later too.

I must say, it used to drive me absolutely insane when someone would make that smacking sound while chewing -- cow chomping, I call it. Ugh!
But, I have to admit that I married a Chinese Man. It is a significant cultural difference and actually respectful to make as much noise as possible while eating... to show that you are enjoying the food that someone worked so hard to prepare for you.
So, when we're at home, I've learned to enjoy the slurping and chewing noises.
Love ⥠isn't it just simply irritating...
:)

People who chew with their mouths open while smacking their lips so loudly it can be heard in the next room.
People who talk with their mouths open and spit food all over.
People who belch without trying to soften it or without saying excuse me or without covering their mouths. (Accidental burps excluded).
People who suck their teeth for ten minutes after a meal rather than use a toothpick.
All of the above annoys me and more often that not, I WILL make a rude and crude comment about it.

I'm a bit embarrased to eat out someplace with my younger brother who is 30. He usually orders 2 entrees and proceeds to shovel the food into his mouth and use his fingers to pick up food that he should be using a fork and knife with. I'd rather he chew with his mouth open than do it that way.
