I don't think being a premie would affect one's fertility in any way.

When I was born I weighed 3 lbs 11 oz and I was born 3 months early . I am a mother of two .. The only thing that is stopping me from conceiving is well I don't want to right now. My Daughter was born 6 weeks early and you can not tell anymore. Being a premie is not that bad anymore. The medical advances that have been made since I was a baby are astounding. While my baby was in NICU for 6 weeks I became aware of some babies that were smaller and weighed less then her. So in answer to your question. They can have as many as they want.

This is difficult to answer, and being premature is not always an indicator to problems later on. Being a low birth weight baby potentially could cause more problems in adulthood, but I couldn't find anything that specifically related to fertility.

I did find this which might be helpful... http://www.aboutkidshealth.ca/ofhc/news/Other/4527.asp

I would say that being a low birth weight baby could have an effect on actual fertility, but not to the number of children a person could have,

You would be better discussing this with a health professional, who is more qualified to help answer your question accurately.

If she is healthy and has no problems with her uterus or ovaries, I don't see any restrictions on how many she will be able to have.
