yes it is possible but there r a lot of options in terms of spin, n the thing with Kumble is that u throw the ball to him ., he works with the ball with sometime n startin to do his magic after his first breakthrough, normally he wishes long spells to b more effective as in the case of an ODI there is only 10 overs available for him n askin him to pick wickets is not gr8., so he normally suits the test kind of bowlin.,
May b he cud perform well bu tit depends on the selectors to take him in the teamm..

kumble is good player but in onedayers the game play is changing dramatically. sehwag, tendulkar, yuvraj etc all can bowl well and are good batsman too. on other side, in test matches when time is not the limit - professional bowlers are required. thus we should not hope too much to kumble. he is good player- no doubt.

NO,NOT AT ALL.NOW A DAYS ODIS R VERY COMPETITIVE.MANY YOUNGSTERS R COMING JUST TO KILL THE BOWLERS.IN THIS CONDITION BOWLERS LIKE KUMBLE STRUGGLE FOR EXISTANCE(I MEAN ODI).BECAUSE HE BOWLS VERY SLOWLY WITH MINIMUM VARIATIONS.HIS FITNESS ALSO COUNTS.BUT IN TESTS HE IS REALLY USEFUL FOR HIS PATIENCE.
