songs by madonna and cyndi lauper...they were the pop icon of the 80's and also there were tons of one hit wonders ranging from Nena (99 luftballoons) to Industry ( State of the Nation), Tiffany, The Jets, FYC,Human League and Thompson Twins to name a few...plus of course there was Spandau Ballet, Tears for Fears, Aha, Duran Duran and even Menudo...too many to choose from...either ways I love the 80's music

One of my favorites, then and now, no matter how many times I hear it ~ "Come on Eileen" ~ Dexy's Midnight Runners.
Such a happy, peppy song, Always makes me want to dance around. As soon as I hear that little violin (or whatever) in the beginning, I immediately get in a better mood.
Plus the video was very cool, too.
