Read a book, take a walk, exercise it increases endorphins in the body thus working as a natural depression fighter, talk to a friend or relative, visit a museum, do anything productive that will take your mind off things for a while. There is also an over-the counter remedy called St. John's wort, just check with your physician to make sure it won't counteract any preescriptions that you might be on. Best of luck to you and yours. Take Care!

I would like to suggest you go out to an Amusement Park or a neighborhood Park and or some Amusement type of Place i.e Dave and Busters etc.. with some little Cousins, Nieces and Nephews, or even some Neighbors Kids, and I am telling you it is a sure cure for depression. It will make you laugh, and have such a great time to see their little faces enjoying themselves, that will help you forget all about your troubles. And one of the number one cure alls for depression, pray and ask God to take away any doubts, fears andf or troubles that may be on your right now, all you have to do is ask and he will remove any troubles your having. I will pray for you. I hope that you will try both of my suggestions. Take care and forget your troubles come on get happy!

Just remember! Everyday is a brand new day! The sun will rise and the sun will set. Every morning you get to start all over. Begin the day making amends, making things right, or forgiving those that have done you wrong and the rest of your day will be even better. Life is basically a series of ups and downs, highs and lows, failures and successes. Be joyious in your successes and learn from your mistakes and move on. Smile! Its a great day.

Come close.
*hugs*
You have to think of something that makes you happy. I fantasise about what the future for me will be like. It gets me through the long day and nights as well.
Try discovering new things or do something that will take your mind of your issues when you're alone. Like reading etc.

relax....And smile, be happy. Things could always be worse. when I get sad and depressed I try and stick close to friends and family. They seem to always make me feel better and when they are around I don't get lonely. When I get lonely I think more about what is making me sad, which makes me sader. So, I would say, stick close to friends and family and don't worry, what ever is bothering you will pass and you wil be happy again.

Why don't you try shopping? Normally when I feel a bit down I go out shopping! A new pair of shoes or jeans can really cheer me up!

Go to youtube and type in Alias Bloopers, for some reason, I find them very funny! Or if things don't go so well, see a doc, get some 5HTP, a natural product you can get in the drug store to level your seretonin level. (research that first and talk to you doc about it).
