Serious mood swings in males of twenty something --

SUPERBOOKS ANSWERS:

Here are SOME of the possible causes of serious mood swings in males or females.

NOTE: I'm not a doctor or psychiatrist so if you need professional help, kindly consult a professional regarding this issue.

SOME POSSIBLE CAUSES:

The person could be an alcoholic. Alcoholics have serious mood swings depending on their surroundings , their jobs, their ups and downs.

The person could be a drug addict from legal drugs or from legal prescription drugs. Any person addicted to drugs can have serious mood swings.

FOR the above two cases..note when the serious swings are..and see if the person "goes to the bathroom " or goes somewhere alone and then comes back feeling and acting more cheerful, more up and different. That might be a sign that he or she TOOK a drug or drink while you were away from them and this would alter their moods.

Spenders have serious mood swings. Generally they are happy when they are spending , gambling or buying and then down when they lose a bet, or can't buy anything or when the bills come in . CHECK finances to discover these mood swings in a person.

Some people are sports-holics.. You've seen on television who some people actually riot after a football game? well these same people who are doing the rioting..have homes and families and they most likely have serious mood swings depending on which team wins or loses.

Mental illness. There are some kinds of mental illness which do cause serious mood swings. The person could be BiPolar or Manic Depressive or could have D.I.D. ..and these things would bring a person to have serious mood swings, and serious up and down phases in their lives.

Injury and terminal illnesses always cause serious mood swings. If a person has just had an operation ..of course they are in great pain, up and down..an d the pain comes and goes and varies so the patient is having serious mood swings when you see them and then all of a sudden they are "ok". Perhaps their pain medicine just kicked in .

Batterers.. People who are controllers, and batterers or verbal abusers always have serious mood swings. If a batterer suddenly finds out that he can't control you anymore, his only choice is to have a serious mood swing. On top of that .. there are some batterers who are addicted to drink and drugs or drugs or prescription drugs. THESE batterers will have double and triple the serious mood swings that ordinary (if there is any such thing) batterers do.

So those are just some of the reasons that a person can have serious mood swings.

There is one more reason . There is a disease or disorder called SADD --something like a 'seasonal " disorder. They do get sad during winter or when they are not getting enough of natural sunlight. You can rectify this by buying a special lamp and exposing yourself to the rays of it in the daytime.l This should stop the mood swings .

Those are some reasons.

have a peaceful day.

The person could be an escaped criminal. If he is "hiding" something like that, then he will be up and down, depending on how close they are to finding him.

I have a couple things to say on this. One, is he controlling? Does he go from real happy to real mad or sad at the drop of a hat? My advice would be to have him see a psychiatrist before marriage.

My brother married someone like that and now he is very unhappy. So either get out of the relationship or have him see a psychiatrist.

Don't settle. My brother did and now he's really regretting it. So are the rest of us.

Probably the stress of the upcoming wedding. Guys take stress different for that situation than we do.

Is he drinking more than usual. Alcohol will cause this. Is he getting enough sleep, sometimes people deprived of sleep will get edgy and quick tempered. Does he snap at the littlest thing?

Don't marry him...get away as quick as possible. My ex-husband was the same way. Real nice till closer to the day...then ***hole...figured cold feet... no, I don't care how nice he seems, how many people think so much of him...run, run fast and far! couldn't tell you why it happens, but if you marry him, odds are the moody won't stop. My ex got viciously violent later. Good luck!
