Um depends i met my GF online at gardargirls.com but normally i meet them in gay night clubs and bars. I've never met some on in a straight pub. Gaydargirls is really good to meet friends also if you dont have many gay mates.

I worry about being out there like that...you don't know what kind of crazies could be mascarading as gay. And I would never meet someone by myself. If you to decide to do it, bring along a friend. Meeting people and having gay friends takes time in the beginning. Go to the nearest gay bar and hang out. Is there a GLBT paper in your area? Read it for events that are happening and go there. Is there a GLBT hotline in your area? Call them and ask...or volunteer.

I joined a lesbian community in order to know what fundraisers are going on, social activities for my partner and to attend and women's football schedule. I met my sugar plum at a non-glbt event. Let destiny help you find your girl.

there are many ways/places to meet someone, in real life and online. do you live in a large city that has a large gay community?
I do, but my partner and I met through planetout personals.
