When you "see" *it*, you don't want "move" in any way in case you spoil *it*.

So I guess I'm saying if you don't wanna, can't think of anything, to change about something then you can consider it a representation of beauty.

Maybe true beauty cannot be timeless; (there's one for discussion)

Beauty is a sensation in your mind that makes you feel good. Its not just a visual thing like most people assume. If your deaf, you can also appreciate beauty through sound. Beauty is therefore a result of something and not related to an object. Its a state of mind and changes according to how we feel. Philosophical enough?

Hi, Plato. Beauty is the quality that makes an object attractive to our thoughts. Beauty is a sense of balance and order; Mathematics could display an example of beauty. Sensual beauty is only a particular of the real ideal of beauty, but not the genuine thing. A true sense of beauty is one that can't be understood on the level of the senses, but only through our rational thinking. I don't particularly believe the saying, beauty is in the eye of the beholder is completely accurate, but that is my opinion and that may change with further thought.

Beauty is a thing seldom seen
No one sees it because no one looks
Or at least not in the right place
Beauty is held by all
Within the soul it lies
Waiting to come out to the surface
Only it can't
Beauty is suppressed by the evils of the world
Only love can bring beauty out
Once seen
Beauty never hides again
Not even hatred can deny beauty
Of it's true design
Beauty although possessed by all
Will only ever be truly seen by few
And fewer yet will ever see
One of the most beautiful sights
The beauty held by you

Beauty is all around us, everyone knows what they believe is beauty but there is never a right or wrong answer to what people believe.

People will think the top supermodle in the world is beauty, where others may believe that beauty is in nature the tree, animal.

No one will never know what beauty is as it is always changing.

To human eye Beauty symbolises life, or things that enhance life. We adore Beauty because we truly and naturally believe that life is beautiful, or it has to be beautiful. We inherently understand that Beauty and Life are synonymous to each other. We sense all things beautiful have life enhancing influence.

Beauty is in fact an expression of natural balance, harmony, assurance and growth or perpetuation. These are also the essential attributes of life, or we can say the conditions for life. We commonly believe that life has a divine origin. If there were no divinity in us then we would not contemplate things beyond our sensual grasp so fervently and religiously. If life then is from the divine then Beauty, the best we feel, see and like in life, must be a glimpse, or illustration, of divinity – the essential source of our life.

The most important aspect to human nature is its ability of refinement. Beauty to human eye is not merely due to physical attributes. Our sense of Beauty has moral, ethical and spiritual dimensions as well ordered as hierarchy for our preference. We learn to observe things objectively from or own human standpoint and find those things more beautiful that serve a better purpose for our human life and wellbeing.

Its a Mind related thing. even when a beautifull thing ( which doesnot change in due course of time ) will not look as beautifull as you saw the first time. if you present a beautiful grown up naked girl before a young boy who doesnot get attracted by the naked body but will be in sigh.but the same thing is a beauty for the same grown up boy. Similarly every child is very beautifull to the parents even if the baby looks pretty bad. Its just a question of mind and attraction. the beautiful girl before she talks to you will look beautifull and if she does something which you really hate, then your mind will not consider her beautifull. question of mind and acceptance...

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Beauty comes from God and His Creation. You can say someone is beautiful, but everyone could be beautiful on the inside. How, by asking the Lord Jesus Christ into your life and cleansing you from all your sins, which are dark, dirty and ugly. Once Christ enters your life, you become beautiful.

The Holy Spirit cleans every stain within you, annd that's what makes you beautiful. We are all beautiful in the eye's of God, and it's man's rejection of God that greives Him. Remember satan can appear as beautiful, so to deceive people, you know, a wolf in sheeps clothing etc. waiting to deceive and devour you, and all who follow Christ or who are seeking for The Truth, which is given to us in the Word of God. So seek Christ and find beauty!

Beauty is a value associated with an innate and emotional perception of life's affirmative and meaningful aspects within objects in the perceived world —ie. vitality, fertility, health, happiness, goodness, and love. Cognition of "beauty" involves the interpretation of objects as being in balance and harmony with nature, which in turn elicits a sense and experience of attraction, affection, and pleasure.

In its most profound sense, beauty is said to engender a salient experience of positive reflection with regard to the meaning of one's own being within natural life. An "object of beauty" may be anything that reveals or resonates with a personal meaning. Hence religious and moral teachings have often focused on the divinity and virtue of beauty, to assert natural beauty as an aspect of a spiritual beauty (ie. truth) and to define all self-centered or materialistic pretensions as based in ignorance. The ancient story of Narcissus for example, deals with the distinction between recognizing beauty and falling into vanity. The presence of the self in any human context means that beauty is naturally tied to its human meaning, wherein human beauty is often the dominant aspect of a greater natural beauty. Otherwise, objects can be defined as belonging to any of various types, such as "artificial," or "intellectual" beauty.

In the modern context, the usage of beauty as means to promote an ideology or dogma has been a focus of societal debates which center around issues of prejudice, ethics, and human rights. The usage of beauty for purposes of commercialism is a controversial aspect of the "culture wars," wherein feminism typically claims such usage promotes a dogmatic (ie. "The Beauty Myth") rather than a virtuous understanding of beauty. The literal opposite of beauty is ugliness —ie. the perceived lack of beauty, which stimulates displeasure and engenders a deeper negative perception of the object.
