Why if he keeps popping up on aljazeera etc and these vids from him and his cronies crop up, why oh why cant we catch him. For him to put these communications out he has to have a network of people working and linking to tv stations. Therefore there has to be a trail to him. In the modern age of communication it has to be possible that he can be traced even if it is with his IP address (or whoever pc he using) so that this is the basis of the search. It cant be that anonymous packages just appear at aljazea, they have to know. Why not just go through them? In my eyes it is just georgie porgie bush playing with his people by waiting until there is a crisis he cant overcome and then will "magically" capture Bin Lid to prove what a great leader he is. What do you guys out there think?

NBC news had a story last night. 180 Taliban and Al Qaeda were recently gathered for a funeral, and the US could have bombed them. We saw them via drone surveillance.Bush decided not to because that was going too far in violation of the rules of war. Perhaps Bush needs his legislation absolving him from war crimes before he orders something like this.

I've posted a direct link below to the article. You can also find it by going to msnbc.com and searching for-- taliban in our sights.

I lean towards Humanist view point. Consider these:

1. President Bush public announcing that he wasn't concerned about getting Osama bin Laden or not.

2. 50 Million Dollars! Do you really think that all the tribesmen, mercenaries, foreign fighters, etc., etc., all of them are that loyal and not want to cash in on 50 Million Dollars????

3. As Humanist said, Osama bin Laden was known to have serious problems with both kidneys! Even though they might be able to get a machine for him, sort of doubt its running on a generator on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border!

4. Last 2 years there has been no video of Osama bin Laden. Announcing his death by Al Queda would clearly cause problems within the organization if not a complete coupe. There has been voice messages, and old tapes but nothing since the last 2 years.

5. If the President Bush doesn't openly know he is dead, then just the name of Osama bin Laden brings back the horrible nightmares of 9/11 and other terrorist attacks Osama planned.
If covertly we killed Osama bin Laden, the public, press, or conventional soldiers would not know about it. This would support President Bush's plan to keep America scared.

6. The strength of the Al Queda and Taliban alliance has never before been seen so strong. Both are working together, coordinating IEDs, ambushes, etc. I think for these two groups to work so closely together, means they are doing it as a last wish from Osama bin Laden.

Just my thoughts.

The Saudi royal family still has ties to OBL and the Saudi royal family are very influential with Bush Sr. and Bush Jr. through the Carlyle Group and other business arrangements. OBL will stay free as long as he's useful to the Bush's agenda.

Bin Laden is in North Pakistan Border we know this, Pakistan has substainal support for Bin Laden if the Americans go in there there will be a right wing backlash and come the next Pakistan Election the Bin Laden supporters will gain power in a democratic election. That means they will have their finger on the nuclear button. Not a good option for America keeping him in is unfortunately the best option

Let's take someone you know personally , put them some where in Texas and you go find him . He has to stand still , right out in plain site , no hidding . He's occupying 10 square feet in all of Texas .
Now add in mountains , caves , villages , he' s allowed to move and hide or blend in with the people .

The FBI can't find people on the most wanted list for years , in one city .
The video tapes can travel for weeks by donkey before being handed over , where do you start .
Odds are he is either dead or completely out of country . I , put him in Iran , where we can't go .

I think the real Bin Laden died some time ago. People on dialysis in his condition rarely live more than a couple of years. Its also highly unlikely that you can get steady dialysis while on the run. George needs him alive to keep us in fear and Alquiada needs him alive because without him they have no leader. Its just more convenient to pretend he's alive.

I think you will find that OBL is well dead and gone. Either he has been killed by the allied forces (unlikely) or he has died of the serious Kidney disease from which he suffered (very likely).

You may also note that his number 2 for the past 2 years has been the front man for the organization.

Some believe that Clinton has him in a secret hideout in Arkansas.
Get a map of the mountains of Pakistan. Perhaps you can understand.
Of course, silly childish conspiracy theories are easier to believe than looking at a map.

Imagine the world as a giant haystack, and Osama a tiny, tiny neadle.

Now imagine that this needle could jump from haystack to haystck (because of the help he gets).

How quickly could you find him?
