I was asking as royalty and religion are usually so closely intertwined - the British monarch being head of The Church of England for example - that being a monarchist and a non-believer seem wholy incompatible.

My position on the social scale prohibits me from "rubbing elbows" with the aristocratic ilk of the world but my common sense allows me to surmise that there are kooks at every level of the social ladder and that there are in fact some pro-royal athiests.

because ALL royalty derives their right to rule us from gods will, right?

so, denying gods existence, is also denying royalty.
