I found myself saying see ya to my very young niece. bets are I won't be seeing her for a few years at best. Maybe much longer. She and her father, my brother, have moved a very long ways away. Knowing I wouldn't be able to be there for her, I wanted to give her something that'd help her through the times she couldn't just ring me up.
So, standing there, I opened my mouth and repeated some line I wrote for a character in a story sometime ago.
Now I'm wondering: What the dazes did I say and was it any good?
What do you all think?

"Three things you need to keep in mind to get through life:
"If you have to fight, fight mean & hard;
"If you have to run, run fast & far;
"If you're gonna stand up for something, stand tall & proud."

So, tell me!
Words of wisdom?
Or did I scar the poor child for life?

Yeah, certainly, words of wisdom.......The child is lucky to have an aunt like you, who has put the advise in a chronicle way.

sounds good to me - although a little fake and rehearsed

not sure what i'd of said

something along the lines of ' I will always be there for you, just ask' - simple but to the point

The advice is not bad but if she is young it may have gone over her head.
