I used Fairy Power Spray to clean the inside of my oven and now the smell when I turn it on is awful despite several rinsings.

You can try washing the oven down with white vinegar. That is safe and vinegar removes odors and chemicals. I would wash it several times with straight vinegar, and if there's a smell left after that, leave a bowl of vinegar in the oven overnite. Baking soda absorbs smells, too.
Hope you have success with this.

It WILL stink to high heaven if you spray the stuff on the fan itself! That's probably why the smell won't go despite your rinsings! Time does take care of it though, just keep the fan on for a few hours with some herbs in the oven.

Anything named after fairys should not be considered a cleaning solution, dear! Lemon juice allowed to cook will sweeten the smell of your oven..also baking soda is another air purifier.

Good luck and please..go get some Easy-Off Oven spray next time!

Sensible answer: put a tray of water in there with some lemon juice, and leave it to bubble away for an hour or so.

Stupid answer - try cooking a turd in there. It won't smell pretty but will certainly mask the smell of the cleaning product.

the only way is to burn the smell away.
put the oven on full and leave until smell disperses. shouldnt take long and you can have the windows and door open hopefully while doing this.
