Browse your Argos cataloge - thats how simple it is.

You need an ADSL modem/router to plug into your ADSL socket in the house. Then for each PC you need a wireless adaptor. This can be either a PCI or USB based card , either one if fine

Most just plug and play - you might need to plug your PC directly into your router the first time you connect, so you can put in the login/password details.

Use a DSL modem and a wireless DSL router. Also use a wireless USB adaptor for each computer. Other than that, the computers and the router need to be configured properly. See if talk talk or the router company will help you with the setup.

Buy the following:

D-Link Router - http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/114156

and then one of these for each PC:
D-Link USB Wi-Fi Adapter - http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/74552

Buy USB Wireless adapters as they can be easily moved about from PC to PC (great for guests or ad-hoc PC's) where as a PCI card cannot be easily moved about.

Also this USB adapter has a trailing cable and weighted base that makes it easier to obtain a better signal.

I've been using my D-Link router for over 3 years now and never had any trouble. Sometimes I have to reset it (switch off & back on again) every 4-8 weeks.
