£70 a week for 20 hours work seem svery good to me when you do not have to pay rent/food/bills. thats the equivalent of £540 a month, how many of you have that money left to do wht you want with it once you have paid all your bills/food/rent? and i have met girls who wanted as much as £250 a week with food and room provided, arethey taking the micky or what!!! that would be the equivalent of a 50K salary if you include rent food and bills.

As an aupair i can tell you it's not enough... I work 45 hours a week, sometimes more and i earn 140 dollars per week... yes, it's enough cause i dont pay for food rent bills.. BUT it's still not that much... i dont complaint at all cause i love my american family, they're a blessing for me... but sometimes i think my work should be pay more... or i just think of all the girls who are with families that dont treat them well, and they still do their work cause they want to live this experience...

Well they should get a different job if they are not happy...what more do they want....living in a nice house for free and looking after a couple of kids....hardly rocket science !!

This is true, although they don't get to choose where they live - they only get one bedroom and a lav, and have to eat what is served, so it is somewhat like being in a prison.

if you have a family niece or a cousin just bring them it and give them 200 pounds a month
