Michael Schumacher is a valuable driver. But without him Ferrari can be succesful with Raikonen. And believe me no one can beat Ferrari.

I feel that they will be as successful because Ferrari are masters at planing out a race and always are capable of producing a car that can challenge. Raikkonen is a future F1 champ and I think he will get it with Ferrari.

While Schumacher was a great driver he was not the sort of driver that can win a race in the sense that a Senna can, Schumacher was the type that was great at holding on to a lead but not the best at passing other drivers for the lead. Ferrari set his car up to win poles and ran a pit strategy that would help him stay in the lead. The fact though is that once he gets a lead it is very hard for him to lose a race, which is why he won so much races where he had the pole

Michael has hinted that he may be involved with Ferrari in some way even after retiring from his driving duty. They will probably have a major reshuffle of the staffing which may include retirement of Jean Todt, possible promotion of Ross Brawn to Team Principal, and surely some ins and outs of technincal and other staff. They will be strong, for sure, whether they can continue to dominate will be anyone's guess. I think it also depends a lot on what happens to other teams.....Toyota, the giant, will surely be a contender in the future. You can bet on Honda pushing hard for the championship. BMW...look how far they've come already since the beginning of this year. And Red Bull - they are definitely up to something. Then you have your traditional forces like the McLarens and Williams who can never be underestimated. What I'm saying is that with or without Michael, the success of a team depends on a lot of things; not just one man, not just the team, but on other teams and people in other teams.

Michael Schumacher said that he is retiring from F1 but this doesn't mean that he is parting from Ferrari or his manager Willi Weber. He said that he will continue working with them together in the future, so with such a good driver as Kimi and Schumi's help (though in a form other than brilliant driving) I think Ferrari will continue their success.

all of us wish that , despite if it`s nonetheless uncertain despite if he stay in F1 as driving force or no longer. If the take the remarkable determination it is to stay for yet another 2 to 7 years , there are alternatives including a Sauber , a Williams , a Ferrari and probably a stress India seat if Hulkenberg signs and indications to Ferrari . I am not sure. Along with Schumacher, some of the important staff at Ferrari is also ending its career.

As Niki Lauda, himself a champion with Ferrari, said last week, Ferrari will return next year to their pre-Schumacher state.

No. Schumacher is Ferrari. They have been a one driver team for almost a decade. Before he arrived, Ferrari was a joke. I'm sure they will find them selves back to where they were back in the early ninety's. Its the German intelligence that wins the races, not a stupid prancing pony!

Yes, definitely they can be as competent and successful as they are now, don't worry Kimi is signing in for Ferrari, he is a good driver he was thrown back in the race track due to his car bad reliability and even his car (Mclaren) is doing very well he was always under the fear when the engine will blow-off if he push it too hard. Now he is in Ferrari he will do every well and Ferrari will continue to be on the top.

In spite of his extraordinary achievements, Michael could not have done it without the Ferrari Team. Ferrari 'breeds' success! Like any thouroughbred, it's in the bloodline! Kimi will do fine!
There once was a song that went' "Gotta long withoutcha before I metcha, gonna gitta long widoutcha now!" It may be 'awhile' before the newbie's are 'up to speed' but I have every confidence in their continued overwhelming success.

Yes, I think they are forced to do so, that's why Michael is going to be in managing position at Ferrari's F1 team, after the end of the season.
