i was off work with depression but managed to meet with friends for lunch

I received a Spa Day at a fabulous spa and spent the day there then out for dinner in the evening. There were flowers and a cheese cake when I got home. It was lovely..
All of this from a very thoughtful Husband.

My mother and sister were coming to visit me in 4 days, I was going to see them after year and a half and they were going to stay for a month. I decided to rearrange all the furniture and clean every drawer and every closet inside out to make it look prettier. I didn't like spending my b-day like that but it was for a good cause!
Later on I went out with a friend, we went to a restaurant by the water, set outside and I discovered a salad that became my favorite salad, I was really tired. He didn't bring me a present, he is my self-absorbed friend, so I didn't hold it against him, but he did help me with the heavy furniture that day.

Went to sing karaoke with friends. When I got there, they had balloons and a cake for me. Then, the kj made me sit in the middle of the dance floor, while he sang "Happy Birthday, Darling" to me. He sounded identical to Conway Twitty. It was great. Then.....got drunk and danced the night away.

Worked a little, lazed some with a book. Then my daughter and mother took me out to dinner - Mexican. Just the usual really.

well it was on a friday... my pal had just come down from University and we had planned - or rather I HAD PLANNED to have heaploads of fun that night.. i had planned the itinerary lekker lekker - but in the end coz the group was now so large - my boyfriend, his pal and my pal all ganged up on me, changed the plans completely and hence i ended up doing what THEY wanted..
I totally didnt like the restuarant they chose, i didnt like the club they chose... i was sooooo miserable coz this was meant to be MY night.. ooohh wish you could see the pics.. everyone else was captured with smiles and grins from here to China but i looked so grumpy in all of them...
Ah yah....

my mom and dad took me to agreat restaurant and when we finished eating i got this great cake with the greatest candle ever...and i recieved a beautiful gift from my boyfriend via mail koz he is not in town...it was a fun birthday
