Amsterdam is such a nice place. Walk from Central Rwst. to Dam Square. On your left the red light district but do that in the vening. On the Dam you find the national monument and Royal Palace and the Nieuwe Kerk (church where Queen Beatrix has married). Continue via the Rokin till the Munt Tower with the flower market on the right and the street to Rembrants Plein (many bars, bleu movies theatres, night shows, disco’s and a big and famous Art Deco cinema hall).

Pass the flower market and turn right, pass the bridge and turn left again. Keep the canal at your left hand. University Library on your right side. Walk to the smal statue het Lieverdje famous from the flower power time in the sixties. In the week-ned you have here a book market on the right. Continue by following the tramway rail to the Amsterdam Historical Museum and the Begein Hof. When you pass the museum or the Begein Hoff you end up in the Leidse Street, big shopping street. Turn left and you on the Dam Squere again

Enough for today. Enjoy ;-))

Namaste = Goede dag (meaning is hello, good morning, afternoon)

Make sure you go on a boat trip as that is really a must! You see the major canals and some touristic attractions.

Good suggestions from others and I would put the Anne Frank House on the list. It really depends on what you are personally interested in.
