Yes!
People still remember Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, John Lennon, JFK, Martin Luther King, and a lot of other influential people from the past.
Steve Irwin was a hero, even if he may not have been as famous as some I mentioned above.
I loved him and am so proud of what he did for animals and their conservation. : )

Yes, they will still be running the show. One day you will reference that Steve Irwin died and the person across from you will tilt their head and say "he died, when" and you will scrunch up your brain trying to remember what year it was that he died

Maybe in his country.
Did you hear the news that they found hundreds of dead stingrays on the shores in Australia? Gosh people thought they had to get back at them!
And yes Tony, I remember he was holding his baby girl around the gators. I never liked his show and I found him so very annoying. (I didn't want him to die though -don't get confused)

I know my son will, he thought he was awesome. I probably won't cuz I don't watch much TV. I think it depends on the person. I do think he was famous enough that he will be remember by lots of people..

I am sure he will be remembered and there will be trivia questions about him at some point, but I doubt the younger generation will ever know much of anything about him.
