my fella's going through a really tough time. he has serious health problem that affects his manhood and we are not able to enjoy much sexual activity together. we've only been together just over a year. I'm 40 and he's 46. I love him so much and will stand by him. I don't make any demands or complain. I'm very supportive but i'm worried that he'll go off sex forever. anyone been through this and things got better?

It depends on what effected his manhood. My man is 42, had prostate cancer, lost his manhood for a little while. The doctor gave hime different medications till we found one that works, but even so, doesn't work all the time. We invested in a pump, that seems to help when the medication does not. It does take a mans pride away from him though. Just keep telling him how sexy he is, and everytime he walks by, slap his butt. There's also other things you can do to enjoy sex. It doesn't always have to be full intercourse. Just rubbing can get you there.

I dont know what health problems he has but I do know that high blood pressure affects men in the sex department. Has he seen a doctor for this? Have him go and get a very good check up and tell his doctor about this. Maybe something like Viagra would help him. Best of luck to you and you are a great wife for sticking by him and not complaining about this problem.

In most circumstances lack of sexual appetite or even the ability to perform is a temporary thing that can be resolved normally with the help of the right medical diagnosis or by talking through his concerns with a understanding partner. Sounds to me like your capable of doing the latter :)

Yes it will get better but you both need to work on it. A healthy diet and exerscise will increase his libedo. You must talk to each other about it so that he doesn't feel under pressure to 'perform' and you must maintain physical contact with each other by hugs, cuddles and kisses
