Could we elect better leaders by using a 'Survivor' reality show type of format?

Like 'President's Island'? I figure they could simulate real presidential situations and we could watch and vote candidates off. We might even generate revenue instead of spending tax money! Any additional ideas?

The last thing we need is another reality show! good idea though. Problem is-------would any of them be worth voting off the island?
