local med ctr wants to charge me $20,000.00???Other tell me should cost but about$5000.00

The average runs several thousand for each... doctor's bill, anesthesiologist's bill, outpatient billing charges apply. It can all add up, but $20,000 is a bit expensive. Are you sure it wasn't $2,000? Most hospital bills are covered by your health insurance plan with a minimu deductable.. depending on your insurance.

The final price to you depends on several things:

What type of medical coverage (insurance) you have.
Your age.
Where you live.

A person living in the USA with decent insurance hardly paids anything, especially if they are also over age 65 and have Medi-care.

It's excellent to have a good job that provides great medical benefits and/or be of retirement age living in the right country.
