Leadership is as the leader does, to reach his destiny; it is his inner resolve to follow his heart's calling despite all compelling circumstances and prevailing wisdom.
So, a leader is really the most creative person amongst the lot, who has the courage and willingness to be lead by his own conscience rather than following the hearsay and the common logic. Leadership is always in thought, in wisdom, because the most powerful and potent thing the world is the idea whose time has come.
Leadership is to always remain alert to the calling of the destiny.
Leadership is our willingness to listen and be willing to be lead, by our inner voice to our own higher destiny. For if we are willing to allow the footprints of our hearts we not only reach our destiny but even transcend it.
So leadership simply is following your own heart and inspiring and allowing others to follow theirs.

An attribute to recognize the time for leadership role, having the courage & the resolve to take up the role & execute the same.
A leader is also one who develops leaders under him, so that as he steps down or try for other challenges he leaves behind a legacy.
