Setting up office application for a co-employee who requested me to do it for her. I travelled seventy miles away on my personal expense to comply with my promise. It was successfully done but she did not come. Her officemates did not even bother seeing me do the job. I also bought some tools to fix her computer. Because I was there already, I had to do it. The manager knew I was there but did not acknowledge my presence. It was my fault that I did not go upstairs to see him first or pay him courtesy call. I assumed he had been informed already. I travelled back to my office in the evening, feeling something awkward and wondering if I was really needed. bullshit!!!! shiiiiit!!!!

I've never had an embarrassing job but I was embarrassed on two occasions while working. Once I had to teach a lifesaving class at the college where I also studied and I left my bathing suit at home. I wore my very tight speedo underwear that were very colorful... as I finished teaching, one of the ladies said, "Your bathing suit looks exactly like my husband's underwear..." and I was embarrassed, so I played it off and said, "What bathing suit? I left my bathing suit at home so I just dropped my trousers and taught in my underwear!" The next day, ALL of the women asked me to teach in my underwear again!

Another time, I was teaching a group of nurses a swimming class. They were ALL older than me. I had an old, old bathing suit and I hadn't noticed that while sitting on the diving board to examine their dives and see them swim crawl to the other edge, final exam, I made a hole in my backside of my bathing suit.

When the exam was over, they surrounded me (it was a tradition to throw the instructor into the pool at the end of each course) and one poked her finger into the hole in my bathing suit and ripped it! They all joined in and all I had was the tie-string around my waste and the elastic strings around the thighs! They thought I was going to cover up but all I did was bring my hands up and said, "Yes, ladies, it's all mine... nothing artificial here..." and we laughed. They had gotten together to buy me a very, very nice bathing suit and a fur-lined jock strap! The minute I put on the new bathing suit (yeah, in front of the ladies; remember they were nurses and older than me), the DIRECTOR walked in! She almost caught me dangling loose!

Business surveys! I had to ask many questions to collect data from people who were busy at work and did not want to be bothered, nor were they required to respond. It was as bad as telemarketing. I lasted a very short time!
