You cant see your display image when you have logged in??
Well, make sure u have logged in as "available" first. If you have, check the format of the picture you are loading as your display image. Its possible that your image format isnt compatible, or the image file is corrupted. Try loading a fresh image...

If you cannot see the person you are chatting with, make sure his status is "available" too...
