they meant quit smoking it. that's a pretty rude answer but lots of people say stuff like that to people who don't spell well, type well or use improper grammar. my best advice is to forget about it. most of us make typos and most of us get rude remarks like that. it's not a big deal unless you make it a big deal. i've been around here a pretty long time and never pay it any mind. no worries.

Okay, get off the pot has nothing to do with marijuana. It's part of an old saying meaning, in essence, make a decision.

"Either s*** or get off the pot!"

Back in the days before toilets, people did their business in chamber pots. I assume that's where it came from.

It means,"move along and give someone else a chance." But it was misused by the person who responded to you because you really were not holding anyone up! It comes from a crude expression: "S--- or get off the pot," as in "do your business or don't tie up the seat!" In other words, "take action or get out of the way".

Two possibilities here. I would say that the first is more likely, it is a short version of 'either piss or get off the pot' i.e don't just sit there on the pot(ty) without doing anything, stop wasting time. The second possibility is someone urging you to give up smoking dope, but probably not

It means-Make a decision! Stop going back and forth, Decide-I think it comes from the phrase "S*** or get off the pot!" Do what you came here to do or forget about it..

It either means stop smoking weed or if you can't do something correctly, don't do it at all.

In other words it is saying,this is your brain on drugs.Insinuating you are either on drugs or not very smart.Everyone makes typos,so don't let it worry you.
