WHAT is w/people taking guns to school and shooting others? Especially because they're being "picked on" or their g/b/friend broke up w/ them. WHAT happened to "meet you out back after school" and the good ole a$$ kicking? Why involve others in the beef a person has w/another? OR "pay backs a btch" and the "five year plan", meaning if you are still burning after five years, thats when you'll get them back--the persons less likely to know who's getting them. Can SOMEONE explain this to me?

It is called hate and unfortunately it starts young. Hate is related to fear and these children are reacting to it. It is a sad commentary on the way things are going lately with some teenagers. It seems that some of them want everything perfect (for them) and when it does not go so they want revenge. We are living in a society that makes the parent feel guilty if their kid does not have what the neighbor's kid has and so most of the kids are spoiled beyond words with material objects. A lot of kids are left home alone while both parents work and do not learn the skills necessary to learn to deal with their emotions. Most kids want to be entertained and sit in front of the television watching movies and playing games which show violence as a way to deal with stress. They fail to use their imagination cause they are used to some innate object entertaining them. I think it is time for parents everywhere to realize the best gift they can give their children is their time and make it their priority to teach children how to handle their emotions in a world that gets ever more stressful each day.

The bad guys prefer unarmed victims!!.
When seconds matter calling 911 and asking the bad guy to wait is not a viable option.

Better to have a gun and not need it than to need it and not have it!!!
**Police do not protect you from crime, they usually just investigate the crime after it happens.**

So you are against the private ownerships of gun! Do you believe in fire extinguishers? Why, you can always call the fire department!!

its easier to shoot someone in a school because there are no cops around, security is really lax in most schools. and when there are lost of potential targets to shoot at cooped up in little over crowded classrooms, or even in a crowded cafeteria or gym, all any suicidal morron has to do is aim into a crowd and he can't miss. All they gotta do is aim at the exits where everyone is crowding to get out, and they can't miss.

its really sad I agree.
