I have been having a lot of the symptoms, Hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings. And I have not had a period in over 3 months. And I am not pregnant.

Although it varies widely for each person, 45 is rather young to be going through menopause. The best thing for you to do is go to your doctor and have a check up. There are several causes for your symptoms. And going with out your period for 3 months is rather strange unless you are on birth control. Please see a doctor only he/she can tell you what is going on for sure.

In most cases menopause happens between the age of 45 and 55, the average age being 51. Find out when your mother went through the menopause, this should give you some clue as to whether you are going through it. But the best thing would be to go to your doctor and get your hormone levels checked. HTH.

Its not too early I started at the same age. you may have up to three more periods but they come in a random manner maybe one in six months and another in a years time its weird but thats how it happened to me. good luck and just remember its just another phase of life it will be as good or bad as you make it your attitude is all important. Just think no more periods yipee!!1

No i think if i remember right woman can start going through this as early as 35 but don't quote me.

45 is not too early but early. After consulting the doctor you can be on estrogen pills.

No, some women, (in rare cases) go through meopause in their 20's!! I suggest you speak w/you doctor to find out if it is possible that is might be pre-mature.
