When there's so much conflicts and contradictions among humans, achieving world peace is a myth. Here, we have 1 person believing 1 thing is right and another person believing the opposite - muslim vs jew, capitalism vs communism, white vs black, rich vs poor, etc that give rise to unequal wealth distribution, gender inequality, religious conflicts, political oppositions, family discords, etc. Humans always fight against everything that is different, it doesn't necessarily be restricted to just skin color and religion but also personal beliefs, interests, way of living, and even level of success. People get beaten up and killed out of various reason like jealousy, greed, hatred, etc. To suggest tolerance is not a way out. How can a muslim tolerant a buddhist if he/she doesn't even believe buddhism is good, for example? What about acceptance? But can we actually do that, honestly? Can a jew let go of his/her religion and join sikhism as a gesture of acceptance? Or be a dual-believer?

I think that a person, meaning an individual, can, but I don't think that people in general, meaning all of humanity can. Even if millions of individuals are willing to reconsider their notions about different issues, and are willing to make concessions for peace, there are still millions of other individuals who will refuse to do so. For every person who says to himself, "Well, those Jewish folks don't believe that Jesus was the Messiah, but I will tolerate them, and even be happy for them that they are happy in their faith, and I will leave them alone, and be peaceful towards them, and be a brother to them," there will be another person who says, "
Those damn Jews should rot in hell, and I will fight them until the day I die".
You know, there is this really interesting scene in the movie "Gandhi". It is during the civil war, before the partitioning of India and Pakistan, and the Hindus and Muslims are going at it and trying their best to wipe each other off the face of the Earth. A Hindu man comes to Gandhi and tells him how angry he is with Muslims, and that he wants to kill them all, and that his child has been killed in the fighting, and that he is just full of hate. Gandhi tells him the most interesting thing. He says (roughly paraphrased), "I will tell you how you can begin to heal your hatred for the Muslims, and also your grief at your loss. There are plenty of orphaned children running around. Find a Muslim child whose parents have been killed. Take him home, feed him, clothe him, and raise him as your son. BUT ALSO RAISE HIM AS A GOOD MUSLIM." When I first saw that, it struck me as particularly powerful, because if humans could just do that, and see things from both sides, this would be a different world.

Understand what you mean.Though at the moment the human race wouldn't know what peace was if we fell over it. Too much yin and not enough yang?
I think that we as humans, run on opposites, good and evil, open shut etc and that's how things have been for centuries and how we exist. Religion is just a word, but its' what we believe in and religion will always be an issue between countries, but it's not just that, that can start another war, (is it me or are these wars getting tedious?), even the smallest thing will start one off. As you say, we do fight about something different, maybe someone said something they shouldn't have or because we are afraid of change and the uncertainty of it, so we sometimes react by fighting.
I rarely watch the news because that's all we hear about.I never pick up a newspaper to read, same reason, also I never believe what the papers say.
If god is listening maybe he should intervene and sort us out because we're doing a crap job of it.

Peace is a myth. Period. Even if by some miracle, all countries had peace- defined lack of civil war or unrest- would there really be peace? In our homes? In our own lives?
Human nature is such that we seek to group ourselves with those who are like us, and who we feel comfortable with. If its not religion, race, wealth, then its other divisions, like tribes, gangs, cliques... this will never end and so there will never be true and lasting world peace.
It doesn't mean that we can't work for peace and to make people's livesbetter, this shoudl always be our endeavor. it's what makes us human- that we always try and improve ourselves.

Jealousy hatred and greed are normal for human nature. But anything beyond limits transforms to problems in the society. We all have to accept that this is tghe age of violence and if bad people will increase then the peace will be destroyed. And I would say that there is very little peace in our lives nowadays cos people donot prary god the donot remember god and there is nobody about whom they fear about. I am not too positive about the path this world is following, all I can plead to the people of this world that remember GOD and he will give u happiness and peace.

There will be no world peace, you ought to know that by now. The only thing that is important, is whether you are saved or not, you can make all kinds of money or whatever here on earth, but if you're not saved you're not going to heaven and thats the most important thing there is, you need to find Jesus Christ and everything else will work itself out.

i think of the argument will become susceptible while one asks for actual information of issues that are actually not actual. The "information" that's reported to not be there, is actual information. yet technological expertise does not even attempt to hit upon such, so there is unquestionably no argument between technological expertise and faith. by ability of no ability in how that's performed out in right here. maximum non secular human beings do not declare their faith is scientific (even while they're attempting to make the declare that technological expertise backs up some, if not all, of their holy books) they don't understand information to that end. yet neither carry out a little atheists... faith is greater of a philosophical lifestyle and issues unknown, not a scientific one. So, to make sure that there to be a controversy that's nicely worth making, one has to attitude faith in a philosophical way. you does not circulate to a examining of Plato's works and insist scientific evidence of his emblems. you would be laughed out of the examining room.

We all believe, irrespective of our religion that the God we believe in created the world, and everything in it.If we do not accept this we are admitting another creator and God for those other people, and our God becomes a part-God .
If we believe that our God created the Universe and everything and everyone in it, then why are we fighting people who do not know about our concept of God, but are the creations of the same God?
What we should be doing is - knowing that everyone and everything - we know, and do not know iare created by our god, and He would be angry when we hurt any one of His creations in a false bid to glorify Him! (Stupid are we not?)
To top it all; we are asked to kill each other in a bid for our religion to get the right to define God - our Creator!!
Are we not trying to be more than God when we are attempting to define Him and confine His activities to people who believe in our defenition of him?
Religion with such a perverted viewpoint unfortunately happens to be our moral guide. If we have to progress (I didn't say - attain), then we have to believe that God created me and He in His immense wisdom and goodness has given me enough capability (in terms of intelligence and talents) to achieve a wonderful life, and I as his beloved creation I will not allow others to define my morality. I as his beloved creation will live by my thought out choices and not by dictums from others; however exalted they may presume themselves to be
