I'm over the age limit to participate in American Idol. I think I should have the chance to try my luck. Anybody with talent should have the chance no matter what their age. What do you think?

Maybe they will change it after this season i think taylor hicks winning it goes to show them not every brittany or christina will win and its not only 13 year olds that vote.I think they try to appeal to that age by putting younger people in the race.

Yep, it's really stupid. The execs just want somebody who is young, so they'll be able to make money off of them for several years. They're afraid that "older people" [in this case, 29+] won't appeal to the younger crowd.
That's not always true.

The thing of it is , some people dont know how to tell if they REALLY have talent or not...alot assume that they do , when they REALLY do NOT ..lol....good luck with that either way.....take care.....GR1M
