If.......... we were really one consiousness,in a dream state, viewing ourselves objectively as individuals, would that not make all religion, Government, media and War a kind of self harm?
Would that not make any institution meerly a distraction from any true goal or learning, with only one possible out come which would be to make us see ourselves in a false and individual light?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm................

I would agree with you, however, that leaves one question.... what is the true reality and what is the dream state?
it could well be that what we currently define as 'dreaming' is in fact our true reality... a reality we do not spend enough time in as we are too destracted in exploring this reality... which in fact is a dream where we are exploring a desire to be entirely selfish. in the spiritual evolution, it is like ridding ourselves of something so that we can move on the the next level.
i get the feeling though that this exploration is coming to an end...

Blimey!!! Which side of the bed did you wake up??? Sounds like your presenting a contradiction within your own question. Sounds like an essay!!! as you put it, yes, a self harm this is but I wouldn't know if it would put us in a false light since each one is individual.

you 're thinking from an existentialist point of view...did u read much about Sartre?!!!
anyway...i think those institutions are a must in our existence..cos they control our different intentions .(excluding wars).
we are the universe yes...but we still need a god to observe our irresponsible actions.
now imagine that in this dream state that we are free to seek whatever goal we have....do u think those goal would go in harmony with each other?...i doubt it

I had to read it three times, and I'm a psychologist!

I think the answer is YES

If we were all one consciousness we would not see ourselves as individuals, we would be a collective serving one purpose.
