Yes many times...used to live about 5 blocks from a movie theatre, so I used to buy a ticket for the latest show on premiere night hours before the screening, go home and eat, then come back just in time to get in line...I agree with some...if you really want to concentrate on the movie itself, sometimes it's best to go alone...

Nope, not me. But, funny thing, my supervisor at work lives with his parents, and never gets dates, but he likes movies, so he goes alone all the time. He went to the movies so often, that the guy that owns the place hit on him. Since, he doesn't swing in that direction, he was a little horrified about it, and hasn't gone to the movies since.

almost always. I don't like to go for movies with my friends. I hate to talk between movies. It just started because i was new to the city and didn't have friends but i started to enjoy the whole experiences. Though personally i don't prefer night shows.

Not for a night movie, but i have been to the cinema by myself-i went by myself for the first time ever, it taught me not to rely on others, especially friends.
Its not too different from going withfriends, there just seems to be a bit of stigma about going alone. It doen's bother me though.

Not often, but yeah. The last time was to see Pirates of the Caribbean 2. I was supposed to go with some of my friends but due to an insane pile of crumby circumstances no one else ended up going. I thought about not going but I had been studying for my licensing exam for a week and seeing this was my reward to myself. So I sucked it up and went to see it by myself. It was kinda nice - I think I'll try it again at some point.

Yes I went one time and I did not like it so I never went alone again. I enjoy the company of others.

Yes I have. I will also go alone to a concert this month because none of my friends wanted to pay 50$ for a ticket....

Oh yeah, sometimes it is better than going with friends. No bickering between the movie to see, the place to eat. no one trying to reach in your popcorn while your hand is still in the bucket...it can be a nice change, you should do it at least once.

yup, quite a few times, and almost always to watch a softcore movies. Can't let anyone see me during the day, since it would mean the end of the sweet-guy image, can i ??
