you don't need a hair brush.

Hair brushes were used in the 1950's and 1960's and it was said back then (like a lot of other "stories) that you needed to brush your hair daily 100 times to have pretty hair. They didn't have plastic nor wide toothed combs back them.

Back in the 1940's and 1950's stylish women used to have manicure sets with buffers and dish and small containers to hold cotton in, and you used to be able to buy a "bedroom set" which consisted of a mirror, brush and comb and they had designs on the back and ends of those items to add to the decor of your bedroom (in color and motif), plus a mirror that would sit flat and in the middle of your large dresser along with your jewelry box. But those kinds of things are no longer used.

These days there are different conditioners, scalp massage, different kinds of shampoos, and a lot of people color their hair (which makes it fragile), that you don't need brushes anymore.

I use only a wide toothed plastic comb.

In looking over what everyone else has commented, I think it's funny that people are telling you to "use your hands".

wear a pair of panties on your head. If you want you may sew a bill from a baseball cap onto them. I am the coolest guy at the office since doing so.
