I get a pain in my left hand from time to time, like its being crushed , not on my thumb but equaly across my fingers from top Knuckle to tips of fingers. I did have chronic tennis elbow last month, but thankfull that has now eased. Any ideas what the pain is or what could be causing it!

Again I agree with th rest that it could be tendonitis. I used to have the same problem myself as I rid a motorcyle the vibrations from the handle bars passing through my hands was causing the same proble. It was excrutiating and I thought I would have to give up riding. I found that keeping your hands very very warm helps and rubbing the tendons at your wrist points, alomst like massage. This helped to release the pressure and relax them. I tend to take primrose oil more now to lub the joints and keep the joints supple as I also do a lot of typing in my work. It has helped although not cured. Doctors is always best if it is really bad and causing problems.

Could be that your tennis elbow caused some pressure on a nerve which is causing your fingers to hurt. Go to your Doctor

Someone has already mentioned this but it could be Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. My mum has it in both hands but it started just in the fingers of one hand just like you. The good news is it is completely curable with an operation under local anaesthetic.

Ask your doctor about an exercise routine. Regular exercise, such as walking three times a week, may reduce neuropathy pain, improve your muscle strength and help control blood sugar levels. Gentle routines such as yoga and tai chi might also help.

It sounds like a pinched nerve either in your arm somewhere or in your spine. Ask the doctor if You can see a DO (doctor of osteopathy) This kind of doctor can adjust you far more skillfully then a chiropractor as he is a medical doctor. Good luck!
