Well done one weight loss.
If you don't want to buy any new clothes the best thing to do is make allterations to the ones you have already got.
If you don't mind spending abit of money on new clothes ,do what another person suggested and buy some clothes from Primark- they're clothes are cheap and cheeerfull and look as good as designer gear.
Other than that keep up the good work on the weight loss and I hope u will enjoy buying those clothes when u have lost all the weight.

First of all, congratulations!

I suggest you go to a shop like Matelan (it's cheap!!!) and buy just a few outfits, preferably with elasticated waistbands so they shrink with you! If you buy all the clothes in one go, you can make sure they mix and match. You can also buy non-tailored dresses as they tend to look okay whatever size you are, without being too baggy.
Another thought is to get yourself colour co-ordinated before you shop. It saves an absolute fortune (you can look at clothes and know they are not right - it stops impulse buying mistakes!!!) - and if colours suit you, the clothes will suit you for longer, even if you change shape! If you cannot afford to get yourself co-ordinated, do it with some friends. You need to scrape your hair away from your face and put on a white t-shirt. Then hold different colours (plain, not patterned!) under your chin and get your friends to tell you which ones brighten up your face. I had myself co-ordinated and found out I am Autumn. That basically means that muddy colours suit me best.

You do not say whether you are male or female, nor whether you work or what you do. If you work, what sort of things do you have to wear? You need to take that into account for what sort of clothes to buy. After all, at the weekends you can wear sweats and t-shirts until you have reached the size you want to be! It is much easier for women to pick clothes out when losing weight than men if they have to wear suits!

Then give all your outfits (except for one!) to a charity shop. The one you have left is to remind you just how big you used to be!

Good luck with the weight loss! I would love to lose weight but don't seem to get off the See-Food diet!!!!!!

Skirts can be tack stitched smaller at the side seam without too much of a visible effect - This can be further reduced as you lose more weight - Or let out if it goes back on.

The same goes for tops if they are sleeveless.

For trousers the gusset shaping will likely make this too much effort - Maybe try "wrap-around" trousers as these do not have the strict waistline size. The same works for skirts and dresses too if you can find them.

They are very simple styles to make - though even if you had to buy them they would last through your entire dieting weight/shape changing mission.

The link is an example of the style I mean -

Me too, i gave all mine to charity shops, or if they are worth something you could sell them on ebay.

I would buy new clothes because you want to make the most of your figure (even if you are still losing weight) that you are working so hard to get! If you are worried about spending money on clothes you will be out of shortly, then try cheap shops such as Primark, Matalan, Mark One, etc so you wont feel so bad.

You will look worse if you wear clothes that are too big for you, make the most of the new you!

Well done for losing weight. You could always sell them on ebay or take them to a charity shop, you could always buy some fresh clothes from charity shops as well, they are always alot cheaper than The main shops, except Primark they have good clothes at very cheap prices but good quality.

Ive lost some weight also and I go to thrift shops to buy used clothing at a considerable less cost. The new stuff comes only when I have a body worth spending over! Next spring I hope. Also though if you insist on having only new, I buy alot of the cotton athletic type of pants and just ware a nice blouse with, its just a new fashion trend. It doesn't bother me to look different.

nice one on losing the weight. well ur clothes you can either give em to charity or sell em. Ebay charge u too much for selling ur clothes, so try selling it on a free website like www.gumtree.com.

If u're still losing weight that's great!! choose the clothes that are loose fitting around the stomch that are long n flowing. see if u can wear bottoms that are slightly more fitting. with ur top u can wear layers upon each other. then why not buy a belt, a waisted-belt and put it around ur ur mid-drift/waist and it will emphasise ur shape. smart n quick. Bobs ur uncle

Ok wear your baggy clothes but wear them in a style that looks cool, lets say in the year 2006 baggy is in one doesnt wear tight jeans or pants. But when u wear ur baggy cloths wear a tight top it gives you a skater girl and mysterious girl with spunk and attitude theme. Just mix and match when u have reached your goal weight then buy new ones and throw those old memories away. take care
