is it realistic to say happiness is more important than money?

Well.........Not too many people have that one figured out yet. I'm lucky enough to have figured out that money is a farce! Ive had money and not had money and felt no different on a face level. Ive come to realise that happy comes from within and not outside of ourselves. But all of humanity must go through all of life thinking money is the answer to all. When all gets their, don't be surprised why they are all asking the same thing and doing drugs and going to therapy because it still has eluded them!

If you have no problem not being rich then it is realistic. I think happiness has more to do with contentment than money.

well I would like to think happiness is more important but in these day and age you need money as well

They are two completely different things.
Happiness is the eternal and unfaded blisful state of the human soul in its obedience to the One True God. Happy is the man that loves his neighbor selflessly.
Money is only a newly invented means of exchange that man can use to buy things which may bring him temporary pleasure or misery. How miserable for the man who buys opium for his consumption!

I believe you can be happy without money but can have money and be unhappy, therefore I think the answer is yes.

people with no money always say that, but money sure can take away a lot of stress thus making you very happy

i used to say happiness is more important but now i am not so sure.

maybe make sufficient money to feed yourself, then seek for happiness?

Can you have happiness without money? Yes. Can you have money without happiness? Yes. Which would you rather have? I would rather have happiness.

Don't have to choose. They're not different. money brings happiness and of course misery too. So they are noy really equal choices. Your question is not correct
