no other cold symptoms...I'm 19. Anything to worry about!?!

i get this all the time and you have to look daft and drink down one side of the throat.
it might even be a infection in the one ear affecting the throat.
don't worry have a hot vimto and watch phil and fern!!!!

It is probably tonsillitus, rinse your mouth and gargle with hot water with some salt in, do this a few times a day, the salt acts as an antibacterial, if after 2-3 days it is still sore, go and see the doc!

Sorry to repeat what the others have said, it definitely sounds like swollen glands. Take regular painkillers & drink a lot of water, if it's still there after 5 days, I would consult your doctor, just in case you have an infection & may need antibiotics.

NO worries if it gets worse see a doctor might be your tonsils

Probably a mild virus or cold lot aboyt at the moment. Something else to blame on the weather and global warming

Sounds more like swollen glands. I get it too and it's often only on one side. Wouldn't worry about it. Should pass in a few days. I've found that nurofen can help. It usually coincides with sinusitus for me and so nasal sprays also help.

Gargle with a strong salt solution luke warm water ,it will help !
Drink some hot lemon and honey !

Doesnt sound like anything to worry about, I get it from time to time. Just try drinking hot/warm drinks and maybe get some thorat sweets. Hope you feel better...

Gargle with salt water. Drink plenty of water or fruits juice.
Don't eat fried food or nuts, it will make it worse.See a doc if it didn't go away.

not really i get this in my throat from time to time it lasts a day or two then goes away i think its just one of my glands in my throat swelled due to sinus problems or allergies
