This will be lengthy but worth the reading.
In 1988 I took my family on a trek of America. That whole trip is another story but so you can understand the situation, I had lost my job and after look for what seemed like forever, I decided to pack my family in the car and search for my future. Well when we got to southern California, we had little money and not finding any work we went south toward flagstaff.
There was this town called Ludlow or something like that in the middle of the desert. It had two gas stations. One opened the other abandon, a motel and the owners home.
I ran out of gas 1/4 mile from this place. We were pushed to the station by another car. Not having any money I went to the owners home and asked himif he had any work I could do for a tank of gas. He said I could pick up the trash around his business' the next day for the gas. I asked if there was anywhere I could park so we could get some sleep. He said behind the abandoned station, which was by the way pitch black.
I asked him if it would be alright if I parked in front of the station because it was well lighted. This station was on the other side of Hwy 40 no one visiting the other place would see me any ways.
He said no it had to be behind the station or I could forget the gas.
I thought that this was odd so I went back to the open station. On the way there I saw people picking up trash all over the business'. I was wondering how much work there would be if it was being done now.
I went into the station when an employee of his gave me $5 and said put this in your tank and get the hell out of here. I said I couldn't and that her boss was going to give me work tomorrow. She repeated herself and stressed the point to get out. I ask for her address so I could give her back her money and she said just to forget it and leave. To make this long story short we were approached by several other employees giving us money and telling us to leave.
By the time it was all over they had filled up my car, 20 gallons, and told us not to worry about it and that we should just leave.
We left right away and made it to Needles AZ where I found some work.
What do you think about that?

Of course! I've lived there for 16 years and every day is a wierd experience - I love it! It's like a cultural Bermuda Triangle, except for Fanta Se, which is always a hoot!

It's said that Sedona, AZ is a big hotspot for psychic energy. I was there once... didn't experience any great epiphanies, wasn't struck with any hidden gift as some people claim happens to them. But it's a nice place nonetheless.
