Hmm. An honest question. slowly approach the person you've wronged, try to be friendly and be sincere then ask if you could talk to them for one moment. look the person in the eyes and say to them I'm so sorry for the way I acted or reacted, (depending on the circumstances and situation) I feel absolutely horrible for having upset you that was not my intention. (Use the last sentence ONLY if you are SINCERE) I hope that we can put the past behind us and still be friends. Then offer your hand for handshake or hug depending on how close you are with this person. I have always used this technique to apologize when I know I was wrong. I only use this for a sincere apology. It hasn't failed yet. Just remember... Ask, Eye contact, be sincere, explain, apologize, ask for friendship, handshake/hug. I know it seems like a lot to do or corny, but believe me all this is worth it if you value this person's friendship.

give it a few days before apologising....nothing worse than a quicky apology...makes it sound like you're just trying to smooth things over instead of showing real regret for your actions...
it also gives the other person time to cool down.
Do it in private...that way, it's personal and you won't look like you're manipulating an apology in front of an audience.
but otherwise, just explain why you did what you did and hope they understand.

find a nice card with words that summarizes how you feel and write a letter. the letter should ease the tension of direct conflicts and let the other party have some time to think it through
follow up and request for a talk
i agree that it is up to the other party if they want to forgive you.
best luck â¥

A lot has to do with getting the right situation. Usually means when no one else is around. Just tell them you have one thing you want to say and after that they don't ever have to talk.see you again if they wish.

There are so many above me here, who would say how you make him listen to you. But if you are sorry and feel that from your heart, he will listen to you anyway!
