I vastly prefer Lydia; conjures musical imagery and beauty.
p.s. Lydia is of Greek descent; the lydian mode in music is an ethereal variant of the major scale, which itself connotes bright and happy.

this is very off handed answer I know that each question has many answers. So I liked it=the name and it was slightly off from my word+Lydia. this I think I remember being an english word that was used to almost aquint it's self with the meaning of deva=if the english every meant such a thing back in the british broad casting days of the fifties. I recall it was the name lydia that a series was based on and the english vision of her programs may led you to further review of how to concieve= lidia

The name Lidia reminds me of a person I use to work with, she was bossy and very annoying. I also associate her trying to always force me into the ladies dressing room to see how I looked in lingerie (I worked in that department).

I like it, in the Bible it is spelled Lydia. I think it is very feminine and pretty, with a little bit of a Hispanic sound.
I knew a Puerto Rican girl named Nydia, I think it's nice too!
