Function over form. An affordable decent wireless headphone or an affordable decent wired headphone? Im going for the Sound Quality, although going wireless is a little added bonus!

If you're going for sound quality, then screw the wireless aspect, the way they look, and everything else.
Get a pair of Sennheisers if the high notes are more important (classical, etc) or a pair of Grados if the bass is more important (pop, etc). Both companies have a range of fantastic products from around $70 up.

If you want the same quality, the wireless is definitely going to be expensive.
And its more comfortable, expecially when you're sitting closer to the screen(long wire = more tangle)
