Karma is your spiritual well being.
Look after it and it will look after you

Miner0104~ is the only one who has stated karma to you correctly so far.
It is all cause and effect. It has nothing to do with your past life, although thats what spirtual leaders would lead you to believe.
Logical thinking would lead you to believe if I don't answer this question (cause) then I will go and get a glass of soda (effect).
Every thing happens in order. You exist because your mother and father randomly came together (cause) and made you (effect) the way you are.
Now imagine if your mother met a different man. It would all be very different, not just for you but for the people you know and love.
That's nothing compared to the even more esstemed cause to you (the effect).
You exist because your grand mother (on your fathers side) married just the right man than they bore your father, and you know the rest from there.
Cause and effect is amazing.
You can see in to the future by using its simple process.
All you have to know is the effect of the cause.
Every peice of none moving matter in your house is a effect waiting to take place.
Every thing exists so perfectly that the effect will take place.
You can look at your shoe and ask yourself how did it get get there.
The cause put it there, the effect is you finding it there.
Effect may change your entire future.
If you know anything about quatum physics, every motion that you make shaps your future.
When people think of spirtual karma they are blind to the truth.
Its cause and effect that really exist.
Let's say 200 years ago your great great, etc grand father hung himself.
This is messing with cause and effect (Karma as you call it).
That's why bad things happen to good people, because they are the effect of a bad thing happening before in their family line that they may never have even known about.
Karma exists, just like god does, you just need to place everything down to a logical scale.
Think of the cause of the universe.
And you will see that the cause has its effect just like everything else.
That does not necessary mean that it is the God you think of today.
That's a whole different subject though.

Karma (Sanskrit: कर्म from the root kṛ, "to do", [meaning deed] meaning action, effect, destiny) means "(the result of) action", generally taken as a term that comprises the entire cycle of cause and effect. Karma is a sum of all that an individual has done, is currently doing and will do.

According to the Theory of Karma - every action taken to achieve a result or profit (fruit of action) leaves a trace or a karmic residue behind it. It is this residue that keeps accumulating and takes away one's well-being and freedom.

The most common way to remove Karma is to understand and decide. Usually a karmic problem is a pattern that repeats over and over. The related person behaves in the same way again and again. To break the pattern it is necessary to follow four phases:

1) Identification of the problem
2) Understanding the effects
3) Decision
4) Return of the energy

Understanding the effects often follows automatically after the identification when people suddenly realize what they have done.

'Karma' is the reaction of whatever we did wrong earlier. As the famous proverb goes, "As you saw; as you reap", karma is caused on what had happened and what is going to happen.

Good and Evil are essential parts of anyone's life. There are there and no one can claim that there is no evil to one. But as the nature always does, it reciprocates the way we behave.

As Newton's third law says, "For every action, there is equivalent opposite reaction". This is true in meta-physics also. Do good and reap good, if you do bad, accept the bad things in return.

One of the greatest books on Earth, 'Thirukkural' says, why should we eat un-ripened fruits when you have fully-ripened fruits in front of you? Similarly, when you have good words to speak, why do you select bad words? Use good words, speak good and get good in return.

Karma is social physics. It is the balance of one's livelihood. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.Things that rest tend to stay at rest unless acted upon. The greater the goodness or badness the greater its pull on others. Karma can teach all of this to you if you let it.

The word is completely mispronounced. The real sanskrit word is 'karm' and it is mentioned in the vedic mythological books (said to be written by the gods themselves according to The Hindu Mythology) that karm is considered as soon as a person reaches the ability to tell the difference between wrong and right. There is no mention as to how to find out what you did in your past life, but it does advise you one thing...

Don't bother whether you've been good or bad in your past life.Start doing good things from today and your past sins will automatically be erased and when you do good to others, others will do good for you...and that's GUARANTEED BY GOD.
