if you are malnourished then first you need to focus on your diet. Try eating better. Then worry about going to the gym.

Not if you don't start eating properly! Food is fuel for your body the same way gas is fuel for a car, the car won't work properly without gas, and your body won't work properly without food.

In order to build muscles your body needs protein. If you really want to improve your physical appearance start eating healthy foods in conjunction with working out in the gym.

if you are malnutritioned going to the gym aint going to do anything for you you need to eat anything and everything you can then once you put on some weight you can go to the gym and then you will look alright but what do you want to do look a small puffed skeleton eat baby eat

i think you should get on a good eating routine first. Then maybe hit up the gym. Those 2 thing will work together to change your appearance.

Eat right and exercise. Then get your rest. That should help you a lot. You are also at a good age because your body is now coming into your full adult body and if you start now and keep it up you may have a nice body one day.

If your malnourished, then upping your calories would be the thing to do first, but do it sensibly. And remember, working out means that you'll need extra calories - if you're already malnourished you don't want to loose more weight. I'd start by eathing things containing 'good' fats - avocados, oily fish, chicken, turkey. And lots of carbs - potatoes, pasta, rice. Then start to work out.

Moderate exercise is good but improving your nutrition is more important. You probably need more dairy and protien. Also fresh veggies are good for your overall health. Walking may be just as helpful at weight training. Good Luck.

The first thing you need to do is eat right for a while.
Then when you're healthy again, of coarse working out will help your appearance.

But get healthy first, or you will stay sick!!!

...the gym will motivate or disillusion you, might even kill you if you don't follow the proper diet...if you have $ to go to the gym, eat properly!!!!!!!!!!!!
